Scottish Running Week
7 -13 JUNE 2027

More than 3,600 people took part in this year’s Scottish
Running Week with over £6,300 raised in vital funds for Athletics Trust Scotland! The event brought clubs, jog groups, event organisers, schools and supporters together across Scotland to celebrate the power of running and raise funds to make athletics and running more accessible for all.

Funds support our vital work focusing on communities who are underrepresented in the sport and face barriers to being active: people with disabilities, people affected by poverty and ethnically and culturally diverse communities.

Help make Scottish Running Week 2027 even bigger!

It’s never too early to plan, and in 2027 we want more people to get involved and raise even more funds, making Scottish Running Week a fantastic celebration of our sport and the difference it can make in people’s lives.

We would love you to join us. Whether you organise a race, host a social run, take over a parkrun, run a fundraising challenge or create something completely new, you can help more people experience the benefits of athletics and running.

Email info@athleticstrustscotland.org.uk for fundraising ideas and practical support.

Registration will open in Spring 2027. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more information.

CHARITY OF THE YEAR

Make a lasting difference by nominating Athletics Trust Scotland as your Club’s Charity of the Year.

We’ll provide the tools, ideas, and marketing support you need to run successful fundraising activities and make a meaningful difference
through the power of athletics.

Garscube Harriers chose Athletics Trust Scotland as its Charity of the Year in 2025. Throughout the year, club members organised a series of events to raise funds and awareness for us, including a mob match against their friends at West End Road Runners during Scottish Running Week, and the popular Charlie Kilshaw Memorial Race at the Milngavie Reservoirs. Fundraising from clubs like Garscube Harriers makes a huge difference to the communities we support!
